Misako was a hard-working woman who had always put her son, Takuo, first. She ran a successful massage parlor, and Takuo was her pride and joy. He was a bright and ambitious boy, with dreams of moving to Tokyo and attending a vocational school.
One day, Takuo overheard a conversation between his mother and one of her regular customers. The man was going to take care of Takuo’s tuition, and Misako was more than happy to oblige. But when Takuo learned the details of his mother’s arrangement, he was filled with jealousy and resentment.
