Asahime, a woman in her late 30s, had always been a busy office lady. She had always been focused on her career and never had much time for her family, particularly her elderly grandfather, Umekichi. However, during the summer vacation, she decided to go back to her hometown to spend some time with her loved ones.
As she arrived at her parents’ house, she noticed that Umekichi was excited to see her. She had not seen him in over a decade, and he had always been a loving and caring grandfather to her. However, as she got to know him again, she realized that he had changed. He was now old and frail, and his mind was not as sharp as it used to be.
