Seika’s world came crashing down as her beloved husband lay motionless in the hospital bed, hooked up to various machines and monitors. The once vibrant and loving couple now faced an uncertain future as their circumstances became increasingly dire. As the days passed, it became clear that Seika’s husband would not recover, leaving her alone and vulnerable.
The trauma of the attack left Seika emotionally and mentally scarred. Her once strong resolve was replaced by feelings of guilt, shame, and despair. Every time she closed her eyes, all she could see were vivid images of the assault, causing her to relive the pain over and over again. But as the days went on, something strange began to happen within her.
