Takeshi, a reliable subordinate, and Nao, a lovely and supportive friend, decided to hold a dinner party to lift my spirits during my difficult divorce mediation. They both knew of my wife’s infidelity and wanted to show their support and remind me that I was not alone. Takeshi and Nao, a former colleague whom I had once played cupid for, had always seen the love between me and my wife and were heartbroken to see us part ways.
The day of the dinner party, unfortunately, a large typhoon was approaching, bringing heavy rain that made it impossible for us to leave the house.
