Ruri and her husband, the Sword, had been married for several years. The Sword, a successful businessman, had taken over his father’s company and had built it into a prosperous enterprise. Ruri, a devoted wife, had supported her husband in his business ventures, but she had always felt a sense of distance between herself and her father-in-law, Ken Haruri.
Ken had worked tirelessly to build his company, but he had eventually succumbed to the stress of his work. He had passed away from overwork, and his company had continued to thrive under the leadership of the Sword.
