Yumi and her husband had always dreamed of starting a family, but despite their best efforts, they were unable to conceive. So, they decided to visit the hospital for a checkup to see if there was any underlying issue.
The news was not what they wanted to hear. Yumi was diagnosed with infertility, which came as a great disappointment to her and her husband. They both felt like something was missing in their lives, and the inability to have daughter made them feel incomplete.
After much deliberation, the couple decided to ask their mother, Hitomi, who lived with them, to be a surrogate mother. They knew it was an unconventional choice, but they were desperate to start a family.
